Mirrors as Dimensional Portals -

Some experts in paranormal phenomena believe that mirrors serve as portals between dimensions, acting as entry points for spiritual energies to move in and out. These items would function as gaps or openings that lead into the energy fields surrounding the spiritual and dimensional realms. This feature would allow a variety of beings, including spirits, to pass through these openings and manifest themselves in our physical world. However, it would also imply that evil forces could use these same portals, since the astral level closest to our plane is populated by what are known as "low astrals" – an invisible realm of another dimension inhabited by dark beings that, when summoned, cause suffering, discomfort, and upsetting emotions. Throughout history, mirrors have played a crucial role in the folk and mythological traditions of many cultures and civilizations. They are so important that they have been featured in well-known books and films from all over the world. In the continuation of Alice's adventures, British author Lewis Carroll brilliantly explored the notion of the mirror as a doorway into a parallel reality. Historically, mirrors were also employed as divination tools because people believed they could show events and objects that were far away in time and place. The mirror in the classic tale of Snow White has the power to speak and responds to the queries of the vengeful stepmother. Through his well-known "mirror of Galadriel," which had the ability to predict future events, the renowned author J. R. R. Tolkien integrated this age-old notion about visionary mirrors. Similarly, the mirror of Oesed (which spells "Desire" when read backwards) in J.K. Rowling's novel "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" does not reflect the observer's physical appearance but instead reveals his or her innermost wants and aspirations.
