Copper Pans
Thanks to their superior thermal conductivity, which allows for precise temperature control, even heat distribution, and efficient cooking, copper pans are superb. They also possess antibacterial properties: copper is naturally hostile to microorganisms, providing greater health and safety. However, their drawbacks include a high cost, ongoing maintenance (polishing, not dishwasher safe, care with metal utensils), reactivity with acidic foods if the coating is poor (stainless steel or tin), and danger if the coating is damaged, requiring special care to prevent overheating.
